Much has been written about the eagerly anticipated Windows 10 and since the launch date on 29th July 2015 an estimated 8 million business PCs have adopted the operating system.
Microsoft listened to the community and reintroduced the start button which was missing from Windows 8 (although a tweak brought it back). Windows 10 still has tiles which are visible when clicking the start button. These can be easily customised and removed all together should you wish to do so. There are a few changes from Windows 8 and 7 which is more of a merge into what works best. Of course with all new operating systems there are pros and cons so let’s go through a few.
Pros
It’s free to upgrade (for now)
Start menu
Action center features are handy
Settings app instead of the control panel
Easy switch mode from desktop to tablet
Cons
Have enough developers embraced the change?
Auto updates can be a pain
